Painter’s Equilibrium is a tragic-comedy. Using
the life story of Vincent Vangogh as the narrative core,
Sanjeet Chaudhury ironically comments on how one can
become a great artist by adopting certain set patterns
in life. One goes through an imaginary struggle, waits
for great things to happen in his life and always expect
some elixir to enhance his thoughts. Here Vangogh becomes
a comic character in his new impersonation as a tortured
artist, then suddenly his suicide throws the viewer
out of the equilibrium.
