The words attributed to Pastor Martin Neimoler (1892-1984)
about the Nazi rise to power and reminding the dangers

He observes this shift in his social engagement in
the last three decades that also saw the rise of different
forms of totalitarianisms in India. The demise of
this space of critical engagement, he realizes, is
in a way self-defeating too. Hence it is propagandist
as well; he wants to warn us.
Infact the archival texuality of the image reflects
the eternal value of these lines
